The Whatipu Caves were all shapes and sizes. This one had quite a narrow entrance and didn't go back too far.   Select the photo below to see the view from inside one of the many other caves.  It might be handy to know that there is a composting toilet at the Whatipu Caves Campground which is a further 5 mins past the caves if you stay in the area longer than you expected!
